PETTS Clubmans Where did they come from??? Ive not seen Craig in competition for years and Simon has only just mounted the bike after breaking his hip - brilliant rides from the two of them. I think that was what your best mate , Dave ,was saying to you Simon when he said , youve beat me you b.........'!!!!! A dry , warm but blustery night; maybe it was the threat of rain that kept numbers low.
Thanks to Bill for getting the results to me so soon,enabling me to mail the tables tonight. I think Ive missed crediting someone for marshalling - if its you, let me know.

10.7.2010 Barrow Central Wheelers 10 L1015 a grim dark day up there, drizzly rain and then 10 mins before start hammered it down, wind had died down a lot from the prior week, very warm but not an absolute float night, certainly fast but very wet, riders inside their cars leaving it to last minute and others tuboing under tailgates and towels. Won by Michael Ellerton (team swift) 19.31, 2nd Dave Crawley (Fibrax/Wrexham RC) 19.36, 3rd Scott Westwood (Walsall CC) 19.38, favourite Barry Charlton was 4th 19.43.
CRC had a great race with myself smashing my PB with 20.41, Noel Fox a PB 21.15, Stephen Swift another PB 21.35, Mick Black 21.47, Dave Shorrock 23.11, Andy Mullaney just missed his best with 23.20, Simon Lester had a 1min 20sec late start so his ride time of 22.00 was very good considering his comeback from a bad crash, so Simon gets pick of the rides.

11.7.2010 VTTA North Lakes & Lancs L2523 Blowing half a gale, so a tough push out to Miller Island then a flyer back. As Mick commented, you used every gear in the box - it certainly seems to have worked for him! Rain just about stayed off. Only two under the hour says it all! 1st Andrew Crawshaw (Preston CC) 58.09, 2nd Fraser Snape (North Lancs RC) 59.30, 3rd Ged Millward (Otley CC) 1.00.08.
